We stopped for ice cream after a very hot day of working. I got the raspberry shake.Very impressed with the fresh fruit they used. It was so thick and creamy! This place has style.

Great place to bring your family and friends! Plus the owner took over a few years ago and is doing great things with the new smokehouse menu. On the weekends they offer pulled pork, chicken, and brisket. I have trouble choosing which one to get when I go.. got the steak burger this time and it was delicious

Oh my god, this place rules! I know it's hard to go wrong with any ice cream shop, but it's the extra little touches with Too Talls. I ordered a rootbeer float, my absolute favorite, even though it never travels well (I have pain issues and am fairly homebound). Too Talls provided the ice cream and root beer separate, and it was Henry Weinhard - the BEST root beer on earth! That's a sign of a place that doesn't nickel and dime every little thing and just wants to provide a great product for a fair price (and if anything it's less expensive than Freddy's or Coldstone). My niece got a butterscotch malt with the "extra malt" option, it was like crack. Thick and rich and delicious, and the malt flavor was fantastic. So many restaurants are perfectly fine, they just don't do anything special. That's why you have to seek out the few who are willing to go the extra mile. Too Talls - great job!

Lots of choices, decent prices and an expanded menu. I wasn't aware that they also serve food. I will think about this option in the future. There's a cute little seating area that my kids just love. Great friendly service.

We were visiting from Illinois and staying in Grand Rapids so I was searching online for mom/pop places and this place looked perfect. Noticed the reviews said to try the Olive burger so I did and it was delicious! I've never had one before so it was different for me but in a good way. I ordered the 1/4lb but should of ordered the 1/2lb. There isn't much parking so we had to park on a side street which seemed to be ok. All in all, highly recommended!

The city of Grand Rapids isn't lacking in ice cream places, so there are lots that I've never tried. Also, I should note that I'm not the world's biggest ice cream fan - I'd usually rather eat french fries. That's why places like Too Talls are great - offering both sweet treats and savory eats! Nate and I stopped by on a weeknight around 8:30 recently and there were just a few people in line ahead of us. The menu isn't as extensive as Frosty Boy but the classics are all represented - soft serve and hand dipped Hudsonville, sundaes, shakes and malts, slushies and "icebergs," flurries, popsicles, root beer floats, and doggy bone sundaes. The savory eats menu includes burgers, chicken strips and wings, hot dogs, grinders, and fried appetizers! I ordered a dirt sundae - vanilla soft serve with chocolate syrup, oreos, and gummy worms - as well as a side of fries. I told you... love fries. Nate got a peanut butter malt. We were given a buzzer for the food and our ice cream order came out quickly. There are several picnic tables with music playing to enjoy your food at so we hung out a few minutes before the fries were done. They were hot and fresh and fried nicely. The sundae was good - pretty basic and all the chocolate syrup was sort of at one spot under the ice cream, but I liked it. Too Talls is a nice spot for a treat in the neighborhood. The employees were all kind and friendly! I'll be back to try more of the savory eats :)

What a cute place to stop on hot summery day. We had been at the pool with the kids and needed ice cream. The kids got blue moon ice cream and Spider-Man which is adorable. Flurries were ordered and myself i got a hot fudge sundae. Great place to eat some wonderful goodies and social distance.

This place is amazing! Not only is their ice cream delicious, but their subs are great too. I tried the Philly cheesesteak and didn't regret it whatsoever! I love that it is just a cute little window to order from, giving you the option to sit or take it to go. 10/10 would recommend! They also have two birds upstairs separate from the food/ice cream area, and if the windows are open they will talk to you. I love this place.
